Sugar Free Banana Bread Granola

A simple and delicious way to start the day. Ingredients 2 Ripe Bananas 4 Dates 1 Tsp Cinnamon 1/4 Tsp Ground Ginger 1/4 Tsp Ground Nutmeg 1/4 Tsp Ground Allspice Pinch of Salt 3 Cups of Oats 1 Cup of Walnuts 1/2 Cup of Seeds (Pumpkin, Sesame, Sunflower) Method Preheat oven to 175C. In a blender or food processor, mix the 2 bananas, dates, spices and salt until a batter forms. You may have to add a splash of water if too thick and not blending. Pour the batter into a mixing bowl. Add the oats, walnuts and seeds to the blender and process until the mixture forms a crumbly dough. Add the crumbly dough to the banana batter and mix thoroughly, until all is combined. Spread onto a non stick baking tray. The mixture should be one layer, about 1/2 inch thick. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Once baked you can break pieces off and place into your bowl, eat with your favourite fruits, nuts, seeds, nut butters and milk. We had 3 servings out of this recipe but you may get more depending how hungry you are. This will keep for a couple of days in the fridge. Enjoy!
